Design Adhesives: It’s A Boy!, It’s A Girl!

Cardstock: Cream (1) 12” x 12”; Pink, Blue, White
Micro Pen Fine Tip: Brown
Diecut a rectangle from both pink and blue cardstock, as shown.
Cut “It’s A Boy!” and “It’s A Girl!” Phrases from Design Adhesives. Adhere girl phrase to center top of pink cardstock and adhere boy phrase to center top of blue cardstock. Make sure that the CUT edge of the blue is facing right while the CUT edge of the pink is facing left. Cover designs with Cocoa Bean embossing powder, tap off excess and heat set to emboss.
Cut apart elements from Design Adhesives and adhere randomly to cover the rectangles, making sure boy stuff is on the blue rectangle and girl stuff is on the pink rectangle.
Cover designs on the pink rectangle with Ballet Blue embossing powder, tap off excess and heat set to emboss.
Repeat process on blue rectangle using Lullaby Blue embossing powder.
Adhere rectangles cut side by cut side leaving about ¼” gap between them, to the lower right on the cream cardstock.
Fill in small portions of the embossed designs using Moonlight Pearlized ink. Also add a trio of dots in the indentions of the scallops.
Adhere brown ribbon to layout; covering the second scallop up from the bottom ot both the pink and blue panels. Adhere pink ribbon down the center of the brown ribbon. Make a bow and adhere to left side as shown.
Crop and mat photo onto white cardstock.
Write babies names on small scraps white cardstock using a brown pen, then add stitching lines around edges. Adhere names to photo, then “hold in place with tiny clothespins.
