Texture Tool – (homemade or store bought) with ½” square combs
Watercolor Paper: 9” x 12” cold press 140 lbs
White Uni-ball Impact Pen
Smear the Plumeria, Chambray, Mint, and Black Cherry ink pads onto Gelli Plate in a swirling pattern. Lightly mist the inked surface with water, and drag texture tool across the inked surface for a combed effect.
Place watercolor paper onto the plate, burnishing the back of the paper with your hand. Pull the paper off the plate and set aside to dry. Clean plate with a baby wipe to remove ink residue.
Place printed watercolor paper onto Color Catcher®. Mist the top of your print with water, then apply Glacier Lake, Seattle Sky, Pinkolicious, and Mudslide ColorBox® Spritzers. Allow the colors to bleed and run, following drip lines down the printed surface of the paper. Set aside to dry.
Place Bloom Art Screen on top right corner of paper, positioned as shown. Prep a plastic plate with IZINK in Anemone, Gold, Silver and Opaline by creating a puddle of each color on the plate. Use Art Daubers to sponge IZINK through screen, starting with Gold in the center, moving to Anemone, Silver and finishing with Opaline on the flower petal tips. Allow IZINK to dry. Carefully remove Art Screen and outline the petals with white gel pen, as shown.
Place Swirldot screen on the upper left side of the paper, as shown, and trace the image with a white gel pen for a finishing touch.
