Materials: Hello Card

  1. Place the Creative Card on scrap paper. Roll the Art Wheel across the Limon inkpad until nicely inked. Brayer the ink onto the card front.
  2. Reink the wheel and brayer the Limon onto the white cardstock piece. Set aside to dry.
  3. Roll excess ink from the brayer onto scrap paper and clean the brayer with a baby wipe.
  4. Ink up the Art Wheel with Aruba, and roll it across the card front. Place the card onto a folded sheet of scrap paper and immediately cover the card front with Opalescent Clear embossing powder. Tap off the excess powder onto clean piece of scrap paper and funnel it back into the jar.  Heat embossing powder until it melts.
  5. Layer the Limon colored cardstock strip on the black strip and adhere with tape runner. Position the layered piece onto front of card as shown. Adhere with tape runner. Trim the piece if necessary.
  6. Add the Hello and small heart stickers to the card as shown. Ink edges of card with the ColorBox Surfacez® Black.
  7. Tie a knot in the gingham ribbon, trim and adhere to the card front as shown.

  • ColorBox® Color Blender
  • ColorBox® Art Screens: Crooked
  • Hot Off the Press Inc. clear stamp set: Feathers
  • Hot Off the Press Inc. Cardmaker’s: White Cards and Envelopes 5” x 6 ½”
  • Paper Accents™ Matte cardstock White: 6 ½” x 6 ½” (1) & 2” x 5 ¾” (1)
  • Paper Accents™ Matte cardstock Smooth Grape: 2” x 5” (1)
  • Ribbon: Grosgrain Purple 3”

  1. Place the Art Screen on the 6 1/2” piece of white cardstock. Tape it securely on at least 3 sides with masking tape.
  2. Ink the Color Blender with Spiced Plum and apply color through the stencil, using a pressing and sweeping motion. Cover completely.
  3. Lift off the Art Screen and sprinkle the cardstock with Peridot embossing powder. Use your finger to brush off some embossing powder so the look is uneven. Heat to melt the embossing powder.
  4. Once cooled, trim piece to 5 ¾” x 5” with embossed image running horizontally across.
  5. Tear the bottom edge of the Lavender cardstock and adhere it at the bottom of the embossed piece to the back with tape runner as shown. Adhere layered piece to the card front with tape runner as shown. Brush the edges with Cupid inkpad.
  6. Ink the feather stamp with Cupid and stamp onto the 2” x 5 ¾” piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle with Denim powder and tap off excess quickly allowing the uneven effect. Heat with heat tool to melt.  Ink the edges with Cupid. Adhere onto the card front as shown.
  7. Tie a knot in ribbon and adhere to the card front as shown.
